    Default Pushing in battles..

So there are a couple of reviewers being able to test the game and the question is primarily aimed at them.
Can units now push other units again like in the old total wars? I felt this was missing in Rome 2.

From watching DarrenTotalwars preview, I must say I am disappointed about the soundtrack. It sounds boring.

Based on the preview videos I watched, the way individual models and their units behave in combat is not any different from Rome II. If that really is the case then don't expect pushing.

There are a couple of interesting things to notice from the released footage. First of all, the little marker under each soldier has assumed an arrow shape again, like the original game. If not just cosmetic, I suspect this is how a soldier's integrity zone is defined. In theory, this should bring some benefits over the circular shape. For one, it should be easier to have troops in a greater variation of spacings (the structure of the unit) without them sliding around. Secondly, it may also reduce blobbing to a certain extent. A third thing would be the plausbility of a slightly different behaviour in combat, e.g. you'll more easily see single soldiers being attacked by multiple ones (this is more theoretical, may not be true).

According to Hannibal Barkas, there is no pushing mechanic in Attila. While it is still over a month until the game will be out, and this is a relatively early observation, it's still possible that no such feature will make it into the final game.

I suspect the arrow is just a visual change rather than an actual change of hitbox shape. Moving from a cylinder to a prism could also cause performance penalties.
