Do building effects stack?

If I build multiple of the same type of temple in my province, does it stack with the others in the same province? For example, if I build two temples that give 40% bonus to agriculture income, will it be 80%? Also, I'm assuming these only affect the province they're in as well, correct?

Just try it There is a tab ingame which shows how many %-bonus are applied. Beware they can differ from round to round due to weather influence. I am also always confused by that stuff. (Means commerece also marintime commerece? ~~)

Yes, those effects are only applied to one province. Otherwise it is stated like "(factionwide)" . The factionwide thing is mainly seen from world wonders.
