Default New To DeI, Have a question regarding Brundisium maritime penalty.

    Hi Guys,

Just got the game and the mod and i must say it's very enjoyable! Absolutely better than vanilla.

Anyway can someone kindly explain to me the situation why Brundisium in my Roman Grand Campaign is having a -17.5% penalty to maritime commerce?

Maybe piracy? Send a fleet there and deploy it in patrol stance.

Maybe but Ariminum' port doesn't have any penalty. Is it because the port is a fishing port?

Armenium is in a different sea region further north, so it means you have more piracy in the sea area around Brundisium and Apollonia. Probably those damn Illyrian pirates as usual...

There could be a fleet raiding in that sea region? One of the province edicts raises piracy in the local sea region, think it is sell slaves

I guess i'l invest sending another fleet in that area.

I have a unrelated question if i may ask... I'm playing as the Julii and if my faction leader dies will a Julii replace him? or members of the party?

The Julian with the highest gravitas, becomes faction leader.
