Can the unit sizes in DeI not be changed? It always defaults back to ultra when I try to change it. I'd like to play on large as ultra is a bit taxing on my system.

Can the unit sizes in DeI not be changed? It always defaults back to ultra when I try to change it. I'd like to play on large as ultra is a bit taxing on my system.

They can be changed in graphic options, although it requires new campaign.
Check your preferences.script file, it might be ticked as "read only" so whatever you change, it will go back once you start the game again.

Please excuse my ignorance but where can I find the preferences.script file? I did a file search of my rome 2 folder and there was no such file. Would it be in one of the DEI pack files (from steam download)?
