New Prussian Infantry mod with the famous Pickelhaube helmet

Hey I just made a little mod that adds a prussian infantry unit ('Musketiere 1843') with the famous 'Pickelhaube' helmet using a model from the old 'IronandBlood' mod.

The credits for the model go to 'Gunny and the origin team of the 'IronandBlood' mod. Thanks again

So far, the unit have the same stats as the old prussian musket infantry and is available with the latest garrison building.


The Pickelhaube or helmet with peak was the main headgear of the prussian and then later the german army from 1843 until 1916. It was introduced by King Friedrich Wilhelm IV. in the year 1842 and quickly became symbol of prussian/german militarism.

Just unzip and put the 2 files in your data folder (Steam/SteamApps/common/Napoleon Total War/data). Launch the game with the Napoleon Modmanager or add the following line to your user.script.

mod "Pickelhaube.pack";

yep, and i'll work on more mods to come, but my computer broke when I finaly had everything done so i'll work on when i have time sry. There are about 7 or 8 models, most for prussia. I have also an interesting idea for a new 'little campaign' set in Schleswig Holstein between 1848 and 1864. I will present it in a new thread

Gave them an air rifle and reduced reloading skill a littlebit to make them not seeming as using a machinegun. Had no time to test, is it the reloading time you want?
