I would like someone that knows what they're doing in the lua scripts, so that I might ask them some questions and make some progress in my overhaul.

Ask away, I can answer any questions you have about scripting.
That's not to say I have the time to teach you or do any scripting for you.![]()

Well, I have one small request, on how that I might implicate a script, that every time you click an attack order on a unit with a unit, the attack order will be repeated while in combat, and only stop when the enemy routes, you change targets, or you disengage.
That way, it'll replicate the 'pushing' effect, when in formations.
Is there anyone able to explain to me how I might do that?
Not possible. Sorry.
I don't think anyone has ever even bothered with battle scripting.
Fixing this would make great strides in the battle physics. It means that Hoplites would push forward, and knock lighter units back in combat, be less... stupid/stale.
Either way, I would like to find someone that is willing to learn battle scripting with me. I'm not good with Lua in general, but I know what it's going to take to fix the combat.
Maybe one of the developers might be willing to talk to me about it.
After all, there seems to be some sort of groundwork already in place with the unfinished 'Patrol Manager' script.
