    So far going as expected with Democrats looking almost certain to pick up the House and Senate still a toss up. The balance of power returns.

    i don't mind the dems taking the house, looks like the senate will stay republican. Maybe now the republicans will get more aggressive!!

    BIG news. The Republicans have lost 3 seats, and the Dems need only 3 more seats to get the Senate.

    UPDATE: THEY JUST GOT THE HOUSE!!!!!

    It should be noted that it is largely conservative democrats that are picking off republicans.

    Yep which imo means Speaker Pelosi wont be speaker for too long and expect a challenge for her position. Dems better not be stupid here and realize this was a vote against Bush not a vote for them.
