The Silvertine book is almost completely obscured by the mountain peaks, with just a top corner peaking out.

I've not noticed that. You know that the books do move, right? It's possible that you caught it in a strange position - or maybe I did and it needs adjusting ... anyone confirm this?

I haven't noticed trouble with Silvertine, but the one just north of Mirrormere (Cloudyhead?) is sometimes difficult to target; you have to click below the book to get it, IIRC.

Eriador Scouts have no mount_effect (checked the EDU), unlike other javelin units (as a result, they're useless vs. trolls). Surely that's an accident?

I checked in game and the book is perfectly visible to me.

Eriador Scouts have the "thrown" attribute, which is what is effective against units with more than 1 HP.

Yes (must've remembered wrongly), but is the lack of mount effect intentional?

Yes, as far as I'm aware. They are not alone.

Yes, having this issue, too. Same with Fanuidhol. And Dwimormountain is actually the worst, the book is invisible for me.
I would rather have a memory that is fair but unfinished than one that goes on to a grievous end.

Resolution and camera angle play a large part in this.

The bug did not repeat itself in my second playthrough with Adûnabâr.

I checked out Bucklebury as well and had no issues with it. Very weird, so I am glad it seems to have gone away by itself.

Hello, I have also encountered an error.

I'm playing as Dorwinion. After clicking next turn i got a CTD during Harad's turn. No error report was shown, just an ordinary Windows statement that program has stopped working.

I used toggle_fow cheat to see what Harad was doing then. They kicked some gondorian armies and started to march in and out their armies in Ost-in-Agarlad. When they moved some units out of there, I got a CTD.

Probably it's not related, but right before that happened, I got for the first time in this campaign "peace with the dead" script in my turn and accepted it (clicked "show me how").

Was it duplicated on a reload? Can you attach the saved game?

Yes, it was duplicated on reload. To tell the truth, right now I am stuck in my campaign because whatever I would do, still I get CTD on Harad turn. If you have any idea what can be done to avoid CTD, please inform me. This error happened probably in most important moment in my Dorwinion camapaign as yet .

Here are savegames - one right before CTD, the second one turn before.

Thanks. There's nothing you can do about it really if it's the AI turn. Sorry. Will add the saved games to our list of things to look into.

Here is a CTD-free saved game for you to continue your campaign. I hope it is stable. I had to advance it a turn - one of your small armies was defeated, an emissary died, and a settlement was besieged - good luck!

Thank you very much MasterOfNone! Save is stable as yet. First time in my gaming life when I got corrupted save repaired . This is the approach that many gamedevs could learn from modders.
