    Default Regarding Official Submods

Happy New Years and hello all! I'm kinda new to DEI and I love everything it has to offer. I was wondering would you guys consider uploading the official submods to the DEI collection on Steam? They all seem like great ideas to cater to individual tastes but I doubt all DEI users on Steam even know about them. I had two friends who didn't even know about the AFP, TPY, or Faster/Slower Battle Mods. However, I'm not sure if its possible with mods uploaded by different users so possibly a joint DEI account might be needed?

Just an [Official] prefix in Steamwould do it really but it's true there isn't enough Steam love on here.

Steam has a lot of limitations. I have hit my mb cap on 2 different accounts already and have had to buy the game 3 times...

Steam is much easier for the user, I understand that. But, I feel that the ease of use is actually a negative. Users can simply click subscribe and easily leave meaningless and often nasty comments in a constant unorganized scroll down the mod's workshop page. I find steam comments to generally be more uninformed or downright rude than any comments on these forums. That is because they have no accountability for what they say and don't have to take any time to actually research or look into the mod.

Users here usually take the time to read posts, look into the various manuals and instructions and interact on a community level. That is why I prefer TWC, personally. If it means the user has to take 1 extra step to find a mod or get some information, that actually might be a good thing for them in the long run. God forbid they have to do more than click subscribe /rant off !!!

Ok so that was a Steam rant (and after trying to manage the behemoth of the DeI 1.0 steam version I just had to vent). As far as the submods go, I can work on getting some of them uploaded. The reason I don't is a few reasons. Its yet more I have to update on Steam when I update the mod. I already have to spend 2-3 hours just to get all the various parts and standalone and mirrors uploaded for each update. Also, until recently, I didn't have any steam room for them. I just bought the game for a 3rd time during the sale, so I can work on getting some of them uploaded.

Sorry for the rant, it just upsets me sometimes the way things are going down a path of ease of use trumping all. I fully realize its human nature, but it brings out many other aspects of human nature that are unfortunate.
