    Default Question about losing a battle

    How does the game automatically determine when you have lost a battle, besides the obvious case of having lost every last man?

    When all your units are routing, routed, or killed.

    Or if enemy captures your town square, or you decide to exit battle before it ends. And there's of course the time limit, if you happen to use that.
