    Default Mini Campaign Suggestions Thread

I thought id make a thread for mini campaign suggestions and maybe the DEI team can take some of the suggestions and implement them in 1.1. So here we go.

Caesar in Gaul: Honestly I played this for a little bit and I really didn't see any issues with it other than maybe some economic tweaks.
Hannibal at the Gates: Removal of Samnites and Estrucean League. Economic tweaks.
Wrath of Sparta: More historically accurate units for the time period. Major economic tweaks (Athens starts with -1000 gold)

So those are my suggestions if anyone has suggestions of their own feel free to post them in the comments and ill add them to the list and maybe if this gets popular we can sticky this

Good idea. I started a Grand Campaign, just to be in the clear... But would much rather play another one! Anyone knows what the current state of the Emperor Campaign is at the moment?

The emperor campaign works fine to my knowledge haven't played it enough to say though. It might need some economic tweaking.

I want the Etruscans and Samnites to be replaced with certain Latin allies. Either DeI could rename them or possibly add more factions? Also I would like an increased reliance on allied troops. Perhaps make the Latin/Italian ala only recruitable as levies from the various states, but make them cheaper than the normal Roman troops so that their is a reason to recruit them.

Well historically it doesnt make sense to have a bunch of Italian allies their since all the Italian city states were integrated with Rome before the start of the grand campaign. What could be cool though is if they were turned into different roman houses sort of like Rome total war.

Actually I don't think so...and this suggestion was for HatG. At the time of Hannibals invasion a fair portion of Italy consisted of Roman allies. Hannibal sought to separate them from Rome and thus weaken Rome.

Ahh ok so yes the Samnites did try to help Hannibal forgot about that. The Estruceans were not involved though they were integrated in 500 BC.

as far as adjustments the mini-campains seem fine except WOS. athens is broke from the beginning and rebel armies are always just one unit., ruins the point of revolting cities since its impossible to lose to one unit.

just finished Parthia on Imperator Augustus on medium overall not too difficult mainly beacause the other major factions spend more time fighting each than me and Parthia starts with a strong empire and many loyal satrapies
only gripes I have is Parthia does not have access to cataphracts starting off which maybe ias historically accurate I don't know and the tech tree takes forever I would like to make research times faster since by this time most of the tech would be availiable anyway
the ai behaved interestingly, I saw more effective naval invasions, allied units were no longer getting stuck inside friendly territory
Antony was destroyed fast by me and my satrapies as he and his client states headed west to stop Octavian. Octavian never really gained much land and spent most of the campaign fighting the Macromani who had taken over most of the northen europe then suddenly were overthrown by another germanic tribe. Pompey stayed quiet then suddenly attacked Lepidus in north africa and detroyed the Numidians at the same time he secured an alliance with Egypt who declared war on Ledpidus shortly after. Lepidus didn't make any big push until much later he drove out and destroyed Pompey and invaded Egypt. Of all the factions the Dacians were the smartest they avoided fighting any of the Roman factions or thier allies and spread through western europe.
