    Default [WIP] Fix Pack for Next Update

    This is a work in progress for the next update: http://www.mediafire.com/download/32...pdatefix2.pack
    Put it in the data folder and check "enable out of date mods" in Steam mod manager.

    Notes
    - Fixed various naval issues (transports showing up inside land is a vanilla bug).
    - Possibly fixed MP Desync issue.
    - Slightly decreased kill rates.
    - Small decrease to some missile stats.
    - Increased Cavalry and Elephant run/charge speed
    - Small increase to elephant hitpoints.
    - Decreased cavalry casualties when pulling back from combat.
    - Increased cavalry effectiveness vs. skirmishers.
    - Fixed some text entries.
    - Increased mercenary cost in custom battles.
    - Fixed some missing building names.
    - Fixed some unit descriptions.
    - Decreased garrison number from Eastern city forum buildings.
    - Fixed Warhorse breed building in IA campaign.
    - Fixed Pontus temples in IA campaign.

    I'm sure this is one already on your list, but I am playing a battle as pontus against cappadocia right now. Their garrison archers have a massive range of 170, and were completely decimating my archers with ease!

    That was rather horrifying, so I wonder if that's a bug as well?

    Damn Dresden you are on point I don't know how you mange to stay on top of things like this I have made respect for you. You should take a week off from the mod I think and everyone else that put together 1.0 has more then earned it[emoji12]

    So is there any point starting a gc now if another update is coming soon? Thought 1.0 will be stable release for a while?

    Save compatible.

    1.0 is stable, inevitably there will be things to fix after any major release

    1.01 will have the fixes listed in the download thread. I am not sure about using this fix with 1.0.

    Edit: Just so everyone knows I am probably taking tomorrow off from modding. I will post this update and many other fixes on New Years Eve hopefully. A few hundred hours of modding these weeks

    Archers now fire at such low angle that I can't shoot arrows behind my infantry, they either won't shoot or shoot the back of my own troops.
    Will you make it like back in 0.96? High arc shots for archers?

    It bothers me too. Seems more realistic but not for well-trained ones in my opinion.

    I second that, i keep killing more my own men that enemy, javelin friendly fire at the backs, ouch. Also missile units shoot themselves when standing close to each other, not a fun thing to rout your own horse archers from friendly fire

    Sadly the mp fix doesnt seem to be working for me and my buddy, we just tried it out and would desync every time he ended his first/second turn or went into battle.

    One more thing Dresden; isn't 5 ladders too much a bonus for AI? KAM explained the reason and it makes sense but still... Just saying buddy.

    It is 1 ladder more than before? And if it removes the annoying use of torches isnt this one extra ladder something that one can look past?
