Hello Miguel. Congratulation for the great mod, and also congratulations for anwsering every question individually. You are a dedicated modder

I only want to ask, can i play this mod in windowed mode? I edit the medieval2.preference file to windowed = true but it wont work on your mod. It does work on vanilla, it does work on every expansion and stainless steel mod but it wont work on your mod.
    Any idea?

Many thanks ByzantineGreek! Excuse the delay, I've been busy this week. To change to windowed mode, it's not necessary to modify the "medieval2.preference.cfg" file. You should modify the "...\mods\HMA\HMA.cfg" file. How are you running the mod?

Hello dear friend! I haven't been able to advance much for personal reasons, but I guess now I'll have more free time.

Thanks for answer, mon seigneur ))))
I also said in moddb and say it in this forum too. I won France campaign! It was really impressive.
But I must say, it needs Burgundia faction. Its really rare faction in all TW mods. )))

    Good luck then!

    Good campaign!

Burgundy? The territory of Burgundy is not within the map. Are you sure you're referring to this faction?

The map of the campaign from the 9th century is already distributed in its basic initial form. Now missing to organize units, emerging factions, scripts, events for the Hispanic Marche, revolts in Al-Andalus, etc...

By the way, does anyone know the true standards of the Carolingian Empire? I see too many assumptions. I guess that is because it depends on the area.

Looks good! And you're a master of scripting events, so I expect good things on that field . Just saw what you're doing for The Great Conflicts too, very impressive. Concerning the Carolingian banner: well, is anyone's taste, really (I guess). If one thinks about the Carolingian Empire as an effective whole, that is, before Louis the Pious' death in 840 and the Treaty of Verdun in 843, the oriflamme of St. Denis is commonly advanced as a symbol, as is an imperial eagle:

Note that the oriflamme as it is represented in the second picture bears a cross which I've also seen associated to the Carolingians (it is, for example, the option that was assumed in The Last Kingdom mod for the Carolingian faction). After 840/43, however, and as you say, it also depends of the region of the empire, either if it was West Francia, Middle Francia or East Francia. In this case, and starting the campaign in 870, we're talking about West Francia.
Anyway, I think that the oriflamme may be kept as reference even in that case - perhaps the The Last Kingdom's banner for the Carolingians could be borrowed - or a symbol integrating the imperial eagle and the fleur-de-lys, which is usually associated with West Francia - in a wrong way, but that's my opinion (I think that the fleur-de-lys is more associated with the Capetian dynasty and "small Francia" [Île-de-France] from which they established their power as the new dynasty ruling over West Francia [France]).

Hello paloma_blanca. Yes, I planned it. But a campaign with the normal map, the armies would be very unbalanced. My intention is to create a map apart from the area of Granada, and to fight in a campaign more interesting.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
