[MOD] Hispania in the Middle Ages - (Updated 09.12.2017)

This mod is about the Middle Ages in the Iberian peninsula. It includes five campaigns on different date and events.
The first campaign is from the middle of the 11th century, when the Caliphate of Cordoba is already divided in taifa kingdoms and in the Christian area is when there are more different factions by the division of the Kingdom of Fernando I after his death. It is a period of instability and tension, where the covenants are of vital importance; apart from that in Africa the Almoravids are expanding with increased strength.
The second campaign begins when El Cid is banished and acting on your own takes the city of Valencia. There establishes its own independent domains defying the Almoravids, which have already invaded half of the Iberian peninsula and will try to continue conquering territories.
The third campaign is already at the end of the 12th century, where the Christian kingdoms have been advanced to the South. But, after the fall of the Almoravids, now the powerful Almohad Empire has control of North Africa and the South of the peninsula. The Christians will can slowing the process of reconquest and can even threaten their borders if not exist a consensus amongst themselves.
The fourth campaign takes place in the 14th century. The Christian kingdoms are facing another attempted invasion of the Iberian peninsula. After the landing on the peninsula of the Marinid army, the Kings of Castile and Portugal come together to combat the new threat. While the Marinids are allied with the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada.
The factions vary according to the campaign you choose and some arise as emergent. Adding the five campaigns there is a total of 24 factions:

The map is of the Iberian peninsula, part of the North of Africa and part of the South of France. The regions are balanced in terms of historical partition of the territory, and distance and size were calculated to improve the gameplay and make the game more dynamic.

It also includes new textures for units, fairly complete rosters, real characters (members of the Royal family and Generals), special units for some factions, the four principal Hispanic military orders (Santiago, Alcantara, Calatrava, Aviz and Montesa), grant titles of Count and many things...

Numerous scripts have been added to make the campaign more interesting. The most prominent are the possible historical unions between realms, annexation of territories by dynastic ties, invasions from Africa, the emergence of new kingdoms, protection in exchange for payment of tributes, reinforcement troops in depending the circumstances and many "surprises" more that may arise during the game.

Install two parts and the Patch in "Medieval II Total War" folder. Each file automatically go to your site. For run the mod, execute this file: "...\Medieval II Total War\mods\HMA\HMA.bat"
