I was wondering if any of you fine modders could help me out with a few questions. In db/cultures_tables there are only four culture groups as we all know, Barbarian, Eastern, Hellenistic and Roman. Each has a corresponding index number....

My question is this, if you copied a row and changed, for instance "rom_Hellenistic" to "rom_Punic", leaving the index number the same could you potentially create a new culture? Is the index number attached to the attributes of that culture, building tree, etc? Would the new "Punic" culture just be the hellenistic culture but able to be dealt with on its own?

It obviously wouldn't change things that much BUT if you wanted the AI to expand slowly or not at all for historical purposes, this could be a great help, modding so some cultures could only sack, liberate or subjugate while others could expand.

Hope that wasn't too convoluted, I'm not the greatest modder but I'm trying
