Well fisrt off congrats on the new release! Looks really nice overall, I like it!
I have noticed the sicas/sickles are still missing from the game though.
So I have the standalone version.
Looked at all the Thracian and Dacian untis. It's missing from the variantmodels and the units don't have any references to them either, they have the old reference to falx_1 or simply falx. Also the the Thracian levies Knife_curved reference seems to lead to something missing as their hands are empty, although there is a knife_curved in the variantmodels.
You can still cheat leaving your army on the harbor.
Bug: Its kind of hard to see on my computer, but I think that the tunics for the greek slingers and greek archers unit cards are placed too high, and it covers their head.
I played a bit today - feels like everything dies really fast now. I had a nizangan persian spearmen charge kill half my Cataphract general unit in seconds attacking them from the front (They got 35+ against large now?!).
Also seems missiles really destroy everything - after two volleys from a local archer group, my nizangan are down to 2/3 of the unit.
My suggestion is that since stuff dies faster, you could increase default replenishment of units slightly to cope with the high increase of killrate. Also perhaps lower "bonus against large" slightly back to 0.9x amounts? (ie 15-20 and so on)
Odd, this dosen't work for me like that.
Also the bonus vs large is only against elephants, not vs cav. We need to change it in UI.

This is from playing as Parthia vs Parthava - when I tried Epirus vs Athens/Sparta, it didn't feel the same way like now.
I also noticed that I couldn't really outrun infantry with my cataphracts - they're so insanely slow that once I'm in melee I'm pretty much dead if I try to back out since they die like flies and are too slow to disengage from super fast infantry (Like nizangan or garrison spearmen). So sadly you can't really use them to charge in and out like other cavs due to the speed

I agree that spearmen should have an advantage when getting a charge on standing horsemen - but it was like these never had any armour or defense at all (at the super fast pace they were dying). Wouldn't it be better if they were a tad more "tanky" to reflect the amount of protection? Them dying so fast combined with their slow speed really makes them a "one-shot" unit, once you've charged in it's nearly impossible to outrun infantry (unless they're very tired or in phalanx) it seems.

@Scarrus I have fixed the issue with thracian levies (wrong weapon slot): Here is the fix for now...

I guess the more elite Dacians do not use the sica as it is a bit small compared to falx swords and looks out of place so I used it with more basic units.
@Ygraine, I dunno I really enjoy the pace of battles now and I don't think missiles are overpowerd. Now they actually have a use in battle. If your cataphract general was standing there and was charged from the front by spearmen why shouldn't they be wiped out? They would be sitting ducks like that and easy to kill!

I will see into that, in my tests cataphracts were slaughtering legionares and even heavy spear units if used right.

Ok, found the issue, Niazagan still have unchanged speed and are a bit faster then they should. Still they are two Times slower then the cataphracts.

I'm kinda concerned with the new upkeep/unit cap system, I will really miss the 0.96.
By the way, I think that the CAI will bypass this system easily
Hi, I'm loving the mod. However some things have been bugging me on my campaigns.
The A.I. seems to be able to recruit vast numbers of troops in a very short time, meanwhile, my Roman economy struggles to manage making a single stack.
I'd like to see smaller factions have reduced recruitment capacity, as well as a major cutback on their economic power. This I believe would balance the game substantially, so that true powers
wouldn't have to constantly fight and even lose to these smaller and substantially weaker ones.
