[Helping EBII] EBII Fan Appeal Signature Movement (idea)

After reading THE EUROPA BARBARORUM II CHRISTMAS APPEAL... What about starting an "EBII Fan Appeal Signature"-Movement/ hype or whatever one may call it. To spread the news and get the attention of as many modders as possible, so that our beloved EBII will be enhanced and fleshed out even faster. And it may potentially even save the EBII team as such (a team being more than merely a handful of dedicated modders that is), if things are as dire as they seem...

There are exactly three things we - the players, fans and supporters - can do now:

1. Choose to enbrace the feeling of resignation and 'quit-ness'... and whine/moan/grunt/despair in silent (or public) - And why not...!?
2. Don't give a crap - Easiest option... and/or for folks that don't care for EBII
3. Get involved - If not with a sig-message, then perhaps otherwise...

What's your choice?

Any thoughts on this? I'll update the sig message, as soon as new and more advanced ideas come in. This could be a good thing for all EBII players, fans and supporters to spread the message - and thus help EBII?!



My idea is, that all EBII fans and supporters include a message in the FIRST line of their signature. What I though of was this (it includes links to the THE EUROPA BARBARORUM II CHRISTMAS APPEAL and The EBII Recruitment Thread):

How to include the above (or any other) message in your signature*:
- go to... My Account (at the top right of any TWC page when logged in), then...
- go to... Edit Signature (under My Settings), then...
- copy and paste the above message and 'Save Signature', done!

* you'll have to have at least posted 25 messages and be a TWC member for 2 weeks to do this, afaik

Great idea, too bad I cannot do this yet. Is it possible to make the font in the signature bigger? Or maybe change the color? The message as it is now is not very visible. Maybe we should also make something different? For example post info about Europa Barbarorum and that it needs volunteers on every page/forum we know about: 1. history 2.modding 3. historical art in every language we know. Maybe that will get more people interested. We may even start with TWC then ORG. What do you think?

It's possible to increase the font size in the signature as well as the colour, but I didn't want to make to too intrusive. If the message is at the top of your sig, it should be quite visible. But anyone is free to increase the font size or use more intrusive colours, if they like. Though I wont edit the OP in that regard.

I didn't want to make the message too long, so that folks with banners and other infos/links/statements can also implement it. But if anyone has some free space in their signature, then why not add links/infos as you suggested?! And if anyone has an account at the ORG., then why not?
