Game crash in middle of battle

The game simply crashes randomly it seems during random points of a battle. I downloaded the mod and nothing else, and I already had issues with the axe throw but followed steps to fix it, so I'm guessing it might have something to do with me using steam instead of the directory just like the axe throw. any help would be great!

1) Are there any reinforcements on either side of the battle which crashes?

2) What version are we talking about: TATW 3.2, or some TATW submod?

Bi, I am just using 3.2 there are no reenforcements.

Dwarven Axethrowers are not present in the battles which crash?

Are there any special units present, Ents, Spiders, Sauron, Balrog etc..? Some users have issues with these units, even though they have very good PCs, it still does not work for them.

Also, do you play on a laptop? If you are, then you will experience crashes more than users with desktop PCs.

i am using a high preformance desktop, and there are no present special monsters. i will try to find out if there is anything specific that causes the crash

i'e noticed that i only have 3.0 part 1 and 2, and patch 3.2, am i suppose to have 3.1 aswell?

No need for 3.1 if you had already installed 3.2 Patch.

Are there any specific units which are present in the battles which crash? Also, if you haven't already done so, start your M2TW campaign with any faction, just so that the game gets fresh data.

Also, try to lower TATW video settings, sometimes just one setting is the cause for crashes. I had to turn off campaign and battle shadows, plus use Shaders 2 and Antialising turned off.
