Default does anyone feel saddened that...

your days of playing mtw and rome are over(for most im assuming and this can include shogun players but ive never played shogun), i remember when i first got mtw about march of 2005, i was so used to playing games like age of empires, rise of nations, etc, that i didnt believe a game like mtw could exist, i went to the store to get the expansion pack to age of empires 1 lol, and they didnt have it, so for 10 dollars i bought mtw, and when i played it i fell in love with it, i played it about 7 hours a day for three months, then i bought rome, and played that instead of mtw, i got bored with them eventually until i tried the chivalry mod .34, from there i installed every mod for rome that was for either 1.5 or 1.6, and that made it fun again, my mtw1 stopped working cause of a newer graphics card, and then after playing rome mods so long i finally got bored of them, after about another month i figured out how to fix mtw, and fell in love with that again, so ive been playing that ever since, until now, ive installed a new graphics card again to get ready for mtw2, and have deleted all my rome mods, and only kept xl mod of mtw, which now it only half works cause my graphics driver is too good for the mtw campaign, so now its just a few more days until mtw2 comes out, and i feel like im losing a good friend, mtw and rome, anyone else feel this way..if so tell your total war story, and wether or not you will still play rome and mtw or shogun.

    Honestly? Nope.

Yea sure, i rarely go backwards soon after release of a new verson. I prolly lay my hands on rome agen, but it can take 2 years.

    Yeah,
I kind of miss MTW despite what it lacked in Graphics...it made up for in playability and relative historical accuracy ( no fantasy units) But I doubt i'll load it up again.
As for RTW I'll be playing RTRE for a while yet...i'll be needing a new PC before MTW2's plays aswell as RTR does. But I did notice a bit of tumble weed blow accross the RTW mod section yesterday.... seems a bit wierd seeing the RTW forums relegated.
But when i get my new PC....it'll be MTW2 all the way.

p.s Shogun rocked.... It was watertight and could be completed in a short amount of time. Something i wish was possible with RTW.
A variety of scenario based campaigns for RTW would have been cooool.
I came, I saw, I went away again.

I'm playing a campaign as the Usuegi in STW right now...I've got about 1/3 of the territory conquered...I've become an adept briber and assassin...
