A real question?
I noticed that there is a sheild that i have seen on several different factions. Its a white shield, with a bird on it, with a red line going thru it. Does anybody know what it means?

I think i have saw it on a French unit on the demo but i am not sure.

Maybe they just want to use it with every faction since it looks cool and it stands out, afterall there's great variety of shields in every unit. That's nice.

You see the square cross on some of the shield? That one appears in several factions, too. Look at your own screenshots. That one might have something to do with catholic christianity, though, so I suppose it's not odd for it to appear in more than one faction. Either way, I don't think we should be surprised seeing the same shild appearing in more than one faction from now on, hehe.

Yeah i did realize that too, that there are the same shields but different colours. But i wonder why that these shields are the same throughout, no different colours. Maybe it does have to do with them being christian? :hmmm:

IT appears in that HRE picture that there is no cross across the eagle. MAybe the Line across it means No to the Holy Roman Empire.
