DEI 1.0 long time coming

Well... if someone procures something on the basis of hype, he will most likely be disappointed.

Judging by the fact that Rome 2 was victim of such a hype I find it rather sensible of the mod team to release 1.0 when they feel it is ready. So far, the current version is already in a stage that makes Rome 2 enjoyable (at least for me) and I am looking forward to what the release version has in store... but I rather have it finished instead of having a beta.

Also I would appreciate if you would not project your opinion to other people to provide your opinion more clout.

There is already a version of the mod available to play so I don't really understand the comparison. Also that is a game from a game company, not a mod from a group of people who have other obligations and don't get paid.

We are working very hard to get it done. The latest DLC set us back some, I had to work about 30 hours this week to get it and the new campaign working properly. If we released it right now just before it is finished then we would have 100 more people posting here asking why x and y were not there when they were promised.

That is about as polite as I can be to your post.

Take your time! You are doing a great work with Rome2, here and with Constantine Mod (AWESOME!!!).

Look at what did CA: they rushed the realise date, and now we are still here with tons of annoying updates (16?) and an unfinished and unpolished game.

Take your time and thank you very much to all the modders spending their RL time to make this game playable for us!

What does it matter when it gets released. Current version is amazing, go play it. Im playing 3rd campaign already on this version and having tons of fun.

This is the second post this week like this. Be patient and wait for this gem. If it takes them until April then so be it. DeI 96 is great as is so enjoy what you got and don't be a tool demanding a release.

All you are doing is pressuring these guys and ruining their day.

I am realllly excited for the next version too, it is obviously going to be a big step up from our current position, I would love to see it released right now, BUT, we have to give the team as much time as they need, first and foremost because this is a labor of love, and you cant force love, second, its not going to get the project out any quicker by making these threads, and third, because it is rude to ask in such a way, they are fully aware of how much we want to play it, and i am sure they want it out even more than we do.
