I have just checked the Gamespot, and the release date changes from 14 to 10. However, from the other thread it seems that US has the same 14... So when is the releasing date of MTWII in US?

^^^ those are the official release dates. the game is actually already arrived in the store. and some of them are selling in here in US. Wal-Mart said they can sell the game till 14th so did the Bestbuy, and other 3 stores. then Game 1 Pro said they started selling the game on Friday evening. got my copy on Saturday.

i live in South Eastern US. how would i know about Canada? one small hint check all the small independent stores in your city (if you live in large city then there will be quite few small independent shops) they dont care about the release date. they just wanna make some money b4 other big stores steals their customers.

Good thinking, I'm going to check the local computer shop later.

They get some games earlier... hopefully it's the case with MTW2.

i went to gamestop and they said the same thing... 15th, but they only have a special edition of it.

then i went to another small store and they said they will probably get a shipment tommorow or wednesday.. so im betting they will sell it on wednesday

It is already here. People have already tried wallmarts, bestbuys, and gamestops, and those do have them (at least the stores that were tied).

Now it's a matter of.... wait a minute...remember the release of RTW. I remember that some kid got to play it couple of days ahead of the release date. Apparently his mom worked at one such store and he bought it early. He even posted some pics. This is the similar situation. Anyone with connections to a retail store and a fan of MTW2 is in a pig heaven right now.

Another thing any of you thinking that this forum represents all of the fans of the game, wake up! Who knows how many fans are playing right now. Just because they're not wasting their precious playing time posting, does not mean there ain't more of 'em. Most fans don't even know or care about these forums.

Gosh, I'm really hoping whatever is going on in the US its the same here in Canada. US and Canada almost always have the same shipping and release dates for most things, so I hope thats the case for M2TW.

Yea I'm trying to quell my impatience by playing Homeworld 2 incessantly to try an take my mind off the waiting. But damnit the thought of other lucky bastards getting to play the game already just absolutely re-opens the wound and rubs salt in it.
