Good looking units.
Way too many bills though. I know everyone loved billmen in MTW (myself included), but I don't think there needs to be 5 units of them.

yea there are quite a bit, but armoured swordsmen seem promising, i havent played mtw but im geussing they look like henrys bodyguard in the demo. hopefully they do, because i love seeing henry and his men hold there swords up high and get their shields ready and charge with their swords up. makes it seem all the more epic.
edit-err i cnat find the english video...wtf? lol

Ugh... the English
Looks good to me, but I'll probably stick to the faction I played first on the first MTW - the Byzantine Empire. Jihads and Crusades alike to deal with, great fun.![]()
Actually if you go to http://www.totalwar.com/index.html?p...medieval2/1/2/ they have the armored swordsmen in the unit previews.
EDIT: Actually it looks like they don't anymore.
Are they deleting units from the previews?!![]()

My impressionof the english faction has been confirmed. Still if you like longbowmen and an army made up primarily with quality infantry you'll probably like the english.

With longbowmen and artilery the english would be difficult to attack I'm thinking, march through the arrows and cannonfire all the while knowing that once your clear of the shot and arrow's falling around you then you have to get past the stakes to get to the archers all while the heavy english infantry is chopping at you and the cavalry is circling around...hmm could be tough to attack, maybe the english aren't that bad after all.Originally Posted by awisler
That is why it should be interresting to fight against them, not as them, because of teh challenge! \o/Originally Posted by happyho
I'm lovin' it. Especially, Billmen and Longbowmen. And the fact ,that English Knights use an axe in melee. Lack of good heavy cavalry makes it interesting (don't say more competitive, but who knows?)
Finally!
umm no loyalty in MTW2?
I find most people irritating
