    Sons Of Latium MOD


    Sons Of Latium MOD is for improving the gameplay of Rome - Total War.

    Installation instructions :

    Install game with final patch Rome - Total War 1.5 Patch...
    This MOD is MOD foldered !
    Navigate to your main Rome - Total War folder.
    Move the folder titled "SonsOfLatiumMOD" into the main Rome - Total War folder.
    Go to your desktop and make a copy of your Rome - Total War shortcut.
    Rename the shortcut to "Sons Of Latium MOD"
    Right click on the new shortcut and click on properties and then in the shortcut tab click,
    in the target line, completely after everything in quotes,
    paste this (with the space in front) : -show_err -mod:SonsOfLatiumMOD

    Playeble factions :
    Romans (Julii,Brutii,Scipii)
    Egypt
    Seleucid
    Carthage
    Parthia
    Gauls
    Germans
    Britons
    Greek cities
    Macedon
    Pontus
    Armenia
    Illyrians
    Numidia
    Scythia
    Spain
    Thrace

    MOD changes :

    All four roman faction's are reskined with great skins from player (HK_mars - Rise Of Empire 1.0G MOD)
    Romans have less power almost -25 % and are not anymore the moust powerful, i men that, there
    units have less armor, morale, totaly rebelancet in export_descr_unit...
    Every faction have a on moust units their standart banner unit, and hores units have standart banners,
    including the generals. Romans, have a unike standart banners.
    Greek cities, Carthage, Egypt and many more have removed phalanx formation on all or some units,
    check the MOD itself...
    Rabels have, generals and slaves on revolt spawn on larger troops, and more pirates, and every province is different with buildings, units inside...
    Every faction have rebelancet, AI behaviour system.
    Some factions have, a new start position and new capital city, and new victory conditions, for
    some factions.

    MOD changes to units :

    All units are in vanilla skins, only reskined units, of roman factions, they have different shields, and helmets...

    The new formation square on start battle and in the battle for romans and factions with phalanx formation units
    and many more...

    Installation instructions :

    Navigate to your main Rome - Total War folder.
    Open folder ''SonsOfLatiumMOD'', in the the main Rome - Total War folder.
    Open folder ''Data'' in the folder ''SonsOfLatiumMOD'', and then copy and
    replace the ''export_descr_unit'' file, and you are done.

    No, officers and captins are the same as vanilla. I will soon upload, all in one MOD, with formations and new egypt,
    ptolemaic, with new army...

    Hey man. i downloaded it before...but did no have time to check your secure good new things...And i dont think that your mod will work with my tired and supermodificated version of vanilla.

    Playing your mod and already won Scipio campaign. Man, you made good work! You adds too much hardcore for Roman gameplay
    In vanilla Romans crashed all factions in the map, but now I almost was defeated. Only wonder made for me victory.

    Thank you for your replay. I see that is still old school player around. I have to add new update, soon with, new balance and still hard challenge for romans. I like it that way... See ya, soon.

    Hi there.Congratulations for your mod.I want to tell you something you might don't know and you might as well add it to the game.There is a greek officer in the game which you add to all greek culture units (macedonian,greek city-states,ptolemies,seleucids).You might add him to all greek mercenary units and rebel units.Only problem is that there is no right texture-color for greek city state macedonias rebels and mercenaries.If you want you can edit the texture and create new ones and add them to game properly.Good luck in everything you do !

    Hello, my friend. Good to see, people still playing R T W Sons of Latium MOD. Yes i know a standard bearer, for reable factions, and mercenaries, i don't retextured... Nice idea for future, my friend i will have this in maid. Soon i will upload final update, just rebalacing some factions expasion on map, fixing all faction romans hastati units, with new helmets, (baisic same helmet with feathers texture like principes units). Some historical positions, of factions and more, and more... For standard bearer i not promise but if i do it i will, do for all type of factions. (barbarian, greek, esteren etc...) Thank you for your support and your replay, it mean a lot, to me. Be good and well !

    No friend i dont mean the standard bearer.I mean an officer with sword and a round shield and a very cool helmet.Check him out in the textures and see his code lines in dmb.
