    Default can we recruit regional general just like the first eb?

    I just download this recently and i upgrade one of my civic to the max, didnt happen to find a general class unit to recruit.

    I'm pretty sure it's still in? Unless I'm horribly confusing between EB 1 and 2, I'm rather sure I got it playing as Rome twice in EB2 with very even / slight handicap victories against AI using a captain.

    I have got a "man of the hour" several times, but only when my number of generals was scarcely more than half my number of settlements. You see it more frequently for factions that do not have a family tree.

    I'm so glad to hear it's there, I must have just been extremely unlucky. There have been multiple forays with esteemed captains looking for glory, but none have yet been elevated (perhaps there were not enough auto-managed settlements).
