The US will not be prosecuting anyone responsible for these horrible actions and neither will there be a case at an international court. All of which is very unfortunate.
But will those who cooperated with the US in torturing prisoners be investigated, charged and prosecuted in Europe?
So far I I only know that politicians within the German government and parlaiment are demanding the cooperating European nationals should be held accountable.
But most cooperation with this garstly prectice came out of the UK, Poland, Romania and Bulgaria.
So it would depend on the leadership and the population of these countries to demand such measures.
Is anyone here from these countries who can post an assesment of what the mood concerning this matter is in their countries?
