    Default Harad not building Mumakil

I wasn't sure this was a bug or not, so I posted it here, but anyhow, I'm about 300 turns into a VH/VH Isengard game with no sub-mods, actually beat the game about 100 turns ago; and I noticed something weird; namely, I've been at war with Harad (who's my only serious rival on the map) for about twenty turns, most of the fighting is going on in Eastern Gondor, around Lebennin and Lossarnach. Harad is regularly able to send full stacks at me (and usually keeps around 4-5 in the field near me at any given time), but the full stacks are almost always mostly Dismounted Serpent Guard, Troll-Men of Harad, and Muhad Tribesmen, with some Southron Warband, Southron Archers, and a little assorted cavalry mixed in. I only just realized, in fact, that up until this point, I'd never seen a single Mumakil unit in the fullstacks I'm facing.

Is this the AI "working as intended"? I did have the feeling that this might be the optimal army for Harad to build; my armies are basically Uruk-hai Pikemen/Infantry/Crossbowmen spam (usually in a 2:2:3 ratio of those), with lesser infantry and Uruk-hai archers recruited to fill out the ranks. Up until a few turns ago, I hadn't gotten into the habit of building warg riders, which I feel may have reduced my effectiveness, but as I was building up my newest stacks, I started introducing them in greater quantities, usually by reducing the quantity of lesser infantry and archers. I ask, because initially, the Haradrim armies were almost all Serpent Guard and Troll-Men, but the newest stacks they're deploying are featuring much higher ratios of Muhad Tribesmen and Southron Archers, which I guess would be the AI adjusting to counter the stacks I'm building (especially the Muhad Tribesmen, which were proving to be the bane of my existence, until I started deploying warg riders). But no Mumakil, even though Harad still controls all her starting provinces, which I'm certain are completely built up, and would probably be also effective in fighting me.

I heard about this before, I believe it is a bug that is never fixed in TAWT 3.2

Take a look at this thread:

No its not. If you make the proper edit Harad will build Mumakil in your current campaign.

    Requirements:
    - TATW 3.2 require that you first have installed the base 3.0 and patch 3.1, before patching to 3.2.
    - If you have installed a previous version of TATW (2.1 or older), it is recommended to delete the old version before installing TATW 3.2.
(Note that TATW doesn't change any registry settings of your system, so you can also delete the old TATW folder "Third_Age" manually.)
    - TATW 3.2 requires the 'Medieval 2 - Kingdoms Expansion' and is compatible with the official patch 1.04 and 1.05. (One installed campaign of the 'Kingdoms Expansion' is enough)
    - Windows Vista, 7 and Windows 8 Users (both STEAM and NON STEAM M2TW Users): Apply these three steps explained in pictures HERE BEFORE installing TATW:
    a) Edit Security for you main M2TW folder/ or take Ownership of your main M2TW folder ( Both STEAM and NON STEAM M2TW Users need to do This step )
    b) Unhide hidden folders ( NON STEAM M2TW Users need to do This step )
    c) Check your VirtualStore folder for Medieval 2 Total War folder, and delete it if you find it there! ( NON STEAM M2TW Users need to do This step )

    Installation:
    - Install
    TATW_3.0_Part1of2.exe &

    TATW_3.0_Part2of2.exe &
    TATW_3.2_Patch.exe
into the default "Medievall II Total War" directory.
(Normally this is: "Programs/SEGA/Medieval II Total War")
If you have installed Medieval II into another folder, please select the folder manually.

OBS - TATW_3.1_Patch.exe is not required unless you want to play that version, or install a submod that is made for 3.1. All content in patch 3.1 is replaced or contained in patch 3.2

    Best thing to do is:

    a) open your main M2TW folder, right mouse click in the Address Bar and press: Copy address as text.

    b) And then replace the Default Installation path in ALL THREE/FOUR TATW Installers with this one you have just copied ( Copy address as text ):

just select the Default installation path, right mouse click and press PASTE to replace it with the location of YOUR main M2TW Folder .

    - Start the mod with the 'Third Age - Total War' shortcut on your desktop

Additional installation instructions only for Steam users:

    1) Destination Folder for ALL Third Age .exe Installers is: your ...\steam\steamapps\common\ Medieval 2 Total War ( so , not ...\steam\steamapps\common\ Medieval 2 Total War\ mods,

    nor ...\steam\steamapps\common\ Medieval 2 Total War\Third_Age_3

... It has to have \Medieval 2 Total War at the end as a DESTINATION FOLDER)

    2) After installing ALL Third Age files, do not rename Third_Age_3 folder located in your ...\steam\steamapps\common\ Medieval 2 Total War\ mods folder, use either one of these methods:

Make copy of medieval2.exe located in your main .\steam\steamapps\common\ Medieval 2 Total War folder

    Rename this copy to kingdoms.exe

Start your mod through regular Third Age.BAT file ( the one present on your desktop as a Shortcut, or, the one present in your Third_Age_ 3 folder)

    _________________________________________________________________________________________

Change Third Age.BAT file present in your Third_Age_ 3 folder (right click on file, choose 'edit'): replace kingdoms.exe entry part with medieval2.exe:

    cd ..\..
    start kingdoms.exe @mods\Third_Age_3\TATW.cfg

    to

    cd ..\..
    start medieval2.exe @mods\Third_Age_3\TATW.cfg

    Save the file, and Exit.

Start your mod through regular Third Age.BAT file ( the one present on your desktop as a Shortcut, or, the one present in your Third_Age_ 3 folder)
