Greek presidential election.
The Greek government decided to initiate the procedures for the presidential election. The president of the republic is a figurehead with very limited power. The election, however, requires (ultimately) a 3/5 majority, a majority which is questionable if the current governing coalition can reach. In case of failure to procure the 180/300 votes a parliamentary (general) election will be held which is bound to overthrow the current government. That on the wake of a just received bailout extension and with no candidates yet.
