Wonderful choice of colors, that golden orange and that blue are perfect! Also the geometrized beasts at the sides of the symbol are great, maybe just a bit too much araldic in their posture (medievalism?), nevertheless they're really beautiful!

Due the Gaels and missing interest in them, we should have replaced them

No, it's not 'missing interest', for my part, it's just self restriction, I always try to preserve a natural low profile due to my spontaneous modesty.

Just scrap down those old fashion barbarians from the forgoten islands whete poeple dont know to drive on the correct side of the road and give us something more interesting instead

Now seriously, it would be not a good aproach at least because of the reason their standard looks really good. About Armenia faction I am just courios: does it represent Persarmenia as in IBFD 7.3 which as far as I know was basicly the puppet state of Sassanids? If yes, than I wandering if the christianity was officialy tolerated in Persarmenia by the Sassanids? I am just enquiring in regard to the cross in the armenian smybol and banners whether their zoroastrian overlords allows the Armenians to present their christian orientation in such a manifest way. Excuse my ignorance as I am not very familiar with the history of that particualr geographical area.

Looking forward to see the symbols and banners of Franks, I really like those they have in Fall of Rome mod but I expect yours be even better

It represents Persarmenia, but in this timespan Armenia was not a completely christianized country, the old beliefs as to Zoroastrism and Mithraism were still strong.

Nevertheless, because some of the most powerful noble houses followed Christian religion (and the cross is not only a Christian symbol) we chose this symbol for them.

Sorry for the delay. I've now updated the opening post with faction # 13.

As for the Armenians. We were rightfully critized back in the days of IBFD 7.03 that the term "Persarmenia" isn't correct since it only refers to a territory, and not a people. There never was a people called "Persarmenians". They were Armenians. The history of 5th century Armenia is a complicated one. Originally, I intended to use the Arsacid banner, but in the end I opted not to. I went with a distinctively Christian banner not related to any specific noble house, but representative of the predominantly Christian identity of the Armenians. Here is, however, the Arsacid banner I also made, but scrapped. Since I abandoned it, I never made an icon.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

I like the Arsacid banner anyway. The slavic banners and symbols looks also good, they look certainly more accurate than the former ones. Does the change of banner/smybol bacground colour means they are using different color on the minimap now?

It is good to see again your previews Joar! On other hand, I have a question: Did you include pagan generals in the armies of the western and eastern roman empires? Because at this time still existed several pagans in the elites of both states and specially among the old roman noblemen.

We aim to be as authentic as possible, within the reasonable boundries of the game, of course. So I assume that some generals will adhere to the traditional Roman faith, yes.
