    Default Question about cattle farms

Hio thanks for this mod, huge fan. A question though if I may

I can't build a cattle farm in one of the Celtic regions, and I own the whole province. Cattle are there, and the Celts before me built a farm, but I have one of those exclamation points over their farm and it says this building is not available to me. But it is just a cattle farm. I can only upgrade it to a kiln or some other industrial building but can't convert or dismantle it to rebuild a roman farm. I NEED food, and I can't seem to build any...

    thoughts?

    Thanks in advance.

Are you sure about not being able to dismantle it? That would be bug-like. Normally every building, except for the town itself (orange), can be dismantled...
Anyways, which level is it? Maybe you havenīt yet discovered the tech required for the lvl of the building. On another point, why would you want a cattle farm to produce food? A normal farm (the one whith the wheat symbol) produces far more food.

As you described your problem, I assume its a major city you're talking about. Barbarians can build agricultural buildings there, "civilized" peoples (like the Romans) can't. So you have to dismantle it and build a farm in one of your minor settlements!

Non barbarian factions cannot build Agriculture chain buildings in provincial capital regions. The game will give you the option of converting existing agriculture buildings to the Industry chain.

You could also destroy the Cattle Farm and build a Delicatessen in the yellow City Center chain for food production in the large city.

    Hi GMFH!

Either you misunderstood me or I didn't get you corretly but barbarians surely can build agricultural buildings in provincial capitals. But, as you said civilized peoples then will only be able to convert them to industial buildings. Or dismantle them and build something else.

    EDIT:

OK, after re-reading your post carefully I got it!

You meant "non-barbarian factions can not..." and I read it like "no, barbarian factions can not..." ...
Your way of expression kind of confused me but we actually said the exact same... still error on my side
