Default Mod of the Year awards - ModDB

Just a headsup, vote for Europa Barbarorum 2 on ModDB, OR ELSE (or else eb dont get your vote )

REMEMBER TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT, SO YOUR VOTE COUNTS MORE.

For now its just the top 100. Obviously, the first 100 mods will pass this phase and a vote between them will decide the top 10 and more importantly, the mod of the year.
Then, as throngs of his enemies bore down upon him and one of his followers said, "They are making at thee, O King," "Who else, pray," said Antigonus, "should be their mark? But Demetrius will come to my aid." This was his hope to the last, and to the last he kept watching eagerly for his son; then a whole cloud of javelins were let fly at him and he fell.

Well hopefully the EB team is better than to stoop to such low tactics to get a vote.

Yep...not yet. I have to agree. It's still pretty much just beta, needs quite a few fixes and then some content (units etc..) before it can make MotY. But it's quite likely it will make it 2015 or 2016, and I will vote then...

But don't you think the content required for those small fixes, if necessary, is minimal compared to the amount of work that has already been done ? Its a total conversion mod with an incredible level of detail and accuracy. I don't see that many mods with such an amount of original design. Even Third Age total war didn't have to change every ing building, gondor is medieval.

I agree some fixes are needed, I also have been slightly disapointed by some battles mechanics but it feels harsh to judge the mod on that. To me, at least :-)

Besides, I was not there to vote for EB1.

Guys this vote is for just the top 100, later on there will be a separate vote to see which mods from those 100 get to be the top 10 and MOTY. So if you think EB2 is good enough and not worse than 100 other mods, vote now. Being at the top 100 at first release, and then think about the top 10 and moty in the next releases is a good start.

Voted. I'm unsatisfied with some battle aspects, especially siege AI, but most are fairly simple fixes and this is way beyond the top 100. Hope it sees top 3!

Voted anyway. EB2 might be barebones at this moment, but I really want this mod being successful.

Of course there's a room for improvements. There's always a room for improvements, in everything.

There are mods for other games in this voting that are even more barebones, so I see no reason to not vote for EB2.
