The Banner of House Broom waving on a hill near the Rills
because of the fog its not visible until Lord Broom and 20 of his men stand almost in front of the stronghold
a deep voice echoes through the narrowed mountain chain
"Boy! My Lord is requesting entrance, Benedict Broom of Tendring, go and tell your Liege... and hurry up its cold outside!"

Soon after the lord called forth, the gates slowly began to grind open showing a group of three men in various furs walking towards Lord Benedict and his retinue.

Lord Benedict, welcome to The Rills. I am Howland Ryswell, Castellan until my brother returns from King's Landing. Come in so we may discuss business over a warm fire and food.

"Howland Ryswell, thanks for the offer i gladly accept it" Ben takes of his heavy coat and sits down
"I came because of the Raven your Brother send me, he was asking for trade and im willing to accept it" he says and starts warming up his cold hands
"your Furs are desperately needed at this cold days and especially nights" Ben says

"I am sure they are, Lord Benedict."

He gestures for a servant off to the right to come forth, when he approaches, several papers are visible.

"These are the papers my brother had written before he had left. He has already signed it, all he needs is your signature and seal to begin trading."

Again Howland beckons a servant forth. This one carries several fur coats. Most notable are those made of wolf and bear, thick with fur.

"An example of some of our finest works. May they serve you well."

OOC: sorry i was a bit busy!

    Lord Broom examine the furs
"These furs are from very good quality, i knew you would be the best aspirant for this Trade"
Benedict seems to be happy with the ongoing trade, he puts out his sigil and signs the dokument
"hopefully this will be a good cooperation, Howland" he says and holds out his hand for a final understanding

Harlen Redwyne arrived to discuss the trade treaty proposed by Lord Ryswell...

Harlen is led into the great hall, where Howland Ryswell sits in a simple chair in front of the lords chair.

Harlen inclined his head to the man,

"Ser Harlen Redwyne of the Arbor,"

    he introduced himself,

"I am here to discuss with Lord Ryswell the proposal of trade."
    ...treasure, pleasure, leisure, les yeux;

Ah yes, my brother Eryon told me about his offer to trade with the Redwyne's. Unfortunately, he left for King's Landing about two weeks ago. Until then I am his Castellan, Howland Ryswell at your service. May I offer you any food or drink, I am sure you would like some proper food after your journey.

"A pleasure to meet you Howland,"

Harlen smiled and considered the offer,

"That would be greatly appreciated thank you..."

he procured a bottle of Arbor Red,

"...perhaps allow me to provide the refreshments, a gift from the Redwynes' to the Ryswells'."

That would be most delightful Ser Harlen.

He motions for some servants to bring forth two goblets and a plate baring bread, salt and a variety of meats.

We may not have all the delicacies of the South, but there is a certain pleasure in Northern foods.

The servants poor the Arbor Red into the goblets and set a table to hold the food. As the servants set a chair down Howland speaks again.

    Please, take a seat.

    Harlen smiled and sat,

"I am always one for new experiences Howland, it is the nature of the traveller, is it not? Besides, the hospitality of House Ryswell is famed, even so far South as the Arbor, so I am sure the Northern delicacies will prove just as palatable as those found in far fairer climates."

He took a sip of wine before attempting some of the less dubious looking meats on the plate before him. He found himself pleasantly surprised by the flavour,

"excellent sir, my fathers chefs could learn a thing or two here."

His voice took a more serious note,

"How fare the Rills, Howland? The civil war barely touched us in the Arbor yet I know many places suffered a much worse fate..."
    ...treasure, pleasure, leisure, les yeux;
    It's all in your eyes.

As far as my brother and I know, the North has not been effected by the war. The only house that was most likely effected is House Manderly, and that only because they marched.

He takes a strip of salted pork and begins to chew on a piece. After finishing, he continues.

My brother would have raised the banners if he had been The Lord at the beginning or even partway to the rebellion, but alas our cousins were still Lords of The Rills. I believe that the lands and seas will be safer now that the Blackfyre's are gone and the Targaryen's once again sit upon the Iron Throne .

"I am glad to hear that, ser."

    Harlen smiled,

"The Blackfyres and their loyalists are all but defeated and the lands of Westeros are safe once more. Which brings me on to the purpose of my visit, namely your letter."

Harlen retrieved the paper bearing the Ryswell seal,

"We accept the offer given to us by your brother and would gladly trade with you."

Harlen smiled and signed the papers after checking them thoroughly...

    "It is done,"

he poured them each another glass of wine,

"it is a great pleasure for the Arbor to do business with you..."

The Knight of the Bloody Gate sends his greetings and asks for trade with the homeland of his mother, Lady Sirsha Stark, for the stone for the Vale.
