    Icon1 Add TATW faction to MTW2 extra!

    im new to this forum but i'm not new to TW at all ,, any body have an idea about adding TATW units to kingdoms extra mod??!!

    Not quite sure what you looking for? Extra mod?

    You mean that you want to add TATW units into M2, or any of the Kingdom campaigns (like Americas or Britannia)?

    thanks for ur replay,, i do modding sometimes, now i'm playing mt2 the extra mod witch contains 31 faction with asia map,, i also play TATW ,, i wounder if i could delete teutonic order faction from that "extra" mod and add mordor faction or just it's units and i will manage the rest.

    OK, you want to add a faction to another mod.

    Here's links to tutorials on how to add a new faction (I'm not sure if you have to remove any faction to add a new, if the Extra-mod has reached the max amount already or not; I suggest you ask in the forum for the Extra-mod):

    Though there are limitations in the game, meaning that you will not be able to transfere all material from TATW, all material a faction use, unless you make normal M2 factions use it to.
    For example there are limits to how many cultures there can be. Culture = event images, settlements, building cards and alike. In TATW Mordor use eastern european culture, so if you add TATW's culture-material then all M2 factions that use eastern european material will have Mordor event images, buildig cards etc - or if you do not add the TATW material, then Mordor will use M2:s eastern european culture material.

    Easiest is presumably, at least to begin with, is simply to add the units, and then experiment from that.

    i did every thing that could be to done to add "berserkers" urku-hai units from TATW to the teutonic order i know i'm right and finally i got this msg on the sytem log it makes me feel like i've failed

    Sounds like either you did not edit battle_models.modeldb and/or you did not move over the model files (that you see in battle_models) to the Extra-mod's folders

    i did all that even the unit info cards i still can't find the problem and now my question is could the game accept TATW units in medieval2 mods or not? and that if i do every thing right

    Did you increase the number at the very first row in battle_models?
    Example of the number I mean (marked in red here):

    yes i do the unite count increase i think that the problem is in the .mesh files
    i think that mesh file of TATW didn't work with m2tw or what?!!!! um still confused

    TATW is a M2 mod, perhaps you are right, but any such mesh issue I've ever heard about, and there are no issues to add M2-units to TATW I know myself.

    This is at any rate not the place for this kind of matter, as it is not about TATW; if you have issues with modding bring it up in the Mod Workshop, that's where mod discussions are held and there you find the expertice.
