Campaign UI - colored banner behind settlement name
Hi, I noticed a change in the Campaign UI - the 'banner' background behind settlement/town names is no longer there as it is in vanilla. Is there a way (submod, etc) to turn this back on? It's more difficult to read the name and tooltips without that banner background

That is removed so that you can no longer see cities in unexplored regions.

Bare in mind Romans back then were not bound by capturing certain geographical positions in order to have ownership over a certain preset area of land. Although in most cases this is nothing major as regions are so small. I can see it being a pain in the arse in the Middle-East.

Always felt weird and stupid that you could see settlements without the "knowledge"

While some make the argument that much of the world was known, we have to remember they didn't have maps like ours. Their maps usually were more 2d and followed the idea of a road system. I wanted to have that feeling of unknown lands at the beginning, also. It adds to the ambience I feel for the early game.

Agreed, but once you control the settlements, I think it makes it difficult to read the name/income/public order values....just sayin...
