Default Are the early campaign and late campaign two different games or just start points?

I have installed the early campaign stainless steel, so do all units eventually become available after certain years or do I have to install the late campaign to access this or? Can someone also specifically point out how longbow units for England become available?

    Thank you

Your campaign will auto evolve into late campaign as the years go by, nothing for you to do other than play. English Longbowmen becomes available circa 1230-1240 I think, require the appropriate archery building, cannot remember its name

If you reeaaally want Longbowmen early you can just edit the "English Archers" event in the event.descr (I think it's called that) file to start at year 0. Then all you need to build them is the archery building above the first one that can be built. This way you can start building them right away in the early campaign!

Somebody might say "well they weren't even around at that time in history!" but I say NAY, longbows were used even in the ancient roman times by the Germanic tribes! There is also evidence that they were used on the British Isles hundreds of years before they got really popular. "Yeah but they weren't an integral part of English armies way back when" another person might say, well, who cares! It's my campaign, and I can pretend that in 1100 the King was out for a royal stroll when he witnessed a Welsh peasant shoot a deer at ~250 yards, and then get the brilliant idea to compose his armies of mostly archers with longbows. If somebody still is upset by that, then this is my final rebut:
