Can you post a picture of the (HOPEFULLY) historically accurate sandals that the Geats will be wearing, please?
It will greatly influence my decision about buying this game.

My slight concern is the Jutes were part of the Anglo-Saxon "conglomeration". Historical fact.
Also can anyone answer me this. Wasnt the pirates and raiders dlc initially for sale with Rome2 and now I just got it for free? So why would I purchase this special edition Attila when I could just wait and then at some point get the danes etc for free?
p.s and re the over dramatisation re historical accuracy stop trolling. there's a line between historical acc+fun and arcadey nonsense.
sorry to repeat but can we get some streams of the game and more info about the features of the game?

Allready a 7,50€ ( thats 9,31$ not 7,99$ btw ) pre-order DLC for a 40€ stand-alone expansion?
Atleast its fantasy vikings instead of the freaking greek states, I guess.
But hey, its not actually cut-content, we only got the trailer done a couple of months before release.
I'm so done with this crap. I'll get the whole thing from steam once the entire pack is down to 7,50.
I wonder if I could raid Miklagard with the vikings...
Anyway, the trailer looks cool and I'm glad to know the release date. I'd be more than happy to see more gameplay footage though.
Will all cities within the Empire be walled in this game time frame? Or will we be able to build walls in all of them? It would be nice if we know some things like this one before preordering.
Will the naval system be the same as in Rome II?

I think I read from somewhere that the late roman era was characterized by fortification of cities due to raids and all that. Many previously huge metropolises were building walls and actually diminishing in size since people were moving in from the outskirts. According to this logic, it would be reasonable to see more walled settlements but I think some actual historian could confirm this.
Taht kill animation.. smooth.
Instead of pre-ordering (the bonus DLC), I'll wait about a year for the game to be patched, then pick both the game and DLC up on sale (if I buy it all), and save more money that way. Save money and needless frustration.
Thanks for the announcement though. The current offer is not interesting at all, and of no value to me. Way overpriced for what is basically an expansion for Rome II (and of which none of the things will be backported).
This announcement has not convinced me to pre-order, if anything it has turned me off from the game. Just some feedback to your marketing and communication team.

I think you would have a 39,99 euros right to complain or to say it is marvelous, and more information to say any of those things. Another thing is that experience tells us that previews are not 100% accurate. I would add that even reading the opinions of the players once the release has happened is a doubtful thing as some people may like it very much and other may not at all. At the end it is at your own risk to buy now or then or not to buy it. What we can ask for is more information, trustable information, about what we are deciding to buy.
