    Icon5 Faction Languages

Hi there, I am wondering if in later releases of the mod, some of the factions will speak their native languages in battles, for example, the Saka saying commands in their native language( along with Armenia, Sauromatae, Parthia).

That's asking for a bit much from a mod development team, especially when these are all dead languages.

They did this in EBI, and I'm pretty sure they're likely to update it as much as possible with EBII later on, it's just not the biggest priority unless voicework volunteers pop up.

I'm less concerned about that than I am with the frequencey of the same phrases being said in rapid succession. There need to be some other sounds/grunts/cheers thrown in between the linguistic vocalizations. I'm forced to turn the sound effects down as it is. If you issue a couple commands or move a few units together, it sounds like a bad rap battle, with a sampler on the fritz.

The quality is fairly high though, voice work in some other mods can sound like a guy was talking into a tin can inside his shower. These are good.

I'd just like to see the native language titles for buildings that was in EB1 restored. The Greek market buildings, for example, have English and Latin names presently, when in EB1 they had Greek names.
