THE NEXT STAGE OF UNIT RECRUITMENT IS HERE.


Instead of using the old and frustrating AOR system, ILOR now uses a recruitment camp system or "Castra" which allows the player to build any legions camp anywhere on the map, giving the player more freedom to choose which legions to station in newly conquered territories. Some legions will have abilities allowing them to be more successful in certain environments so it will be up to the player to decide which legion is needed. No more waiting to conquer half the map before you can recruit those legions at the outskirts of the empire. When your legion moves you can move its camp with it. The Castra-system gives you more freedom to conquer the ancient world your way.


In addition, many model upgrade have been uploaded to include new shield models, helmets, Armour etc...

These new features are already included in the ILOR core packs. So you only need to subscribe to both cores

Decent work man! for real..
Anyway ...maybe it needs some .lod models
Cause these units drasticaly reduces my FPS .... really ...i have like 5 units in battle ....and the game is just lagging .....
Didn´t happen with vanilla..

can you give some detail on you pc, and game settings? I will start updating with reduced poly lod models, probably take me few days.

Giving you my PC details won´t help you much ... anyway ...what is important that with vanilla legionaries i did not have the FPS drop ..but now i have drasticaly ....and from what i gathered while playing with their gear is that it´s mostly caused by Shields and Helmets....

Course i don´t have high end PC lol .... but on steam i´ve seen that i´m not the only one having this issue ...should we all resolve it by ourselves ? :-) or all of us got crappy pc?

If you cannot find any reference pics just go with some dark blue variations of standard legionaries, that will be enough.

ok folks I have updated many of the lods, you should see a huge performance increase, still some more to do

I can confirm that the performance is better now .... nice work
I tried to decrease size of a textures which helped a bit too :-)
