    Default Magnificent Building Cards

One of the most appreciated features of Rome Total History are its beautiful building cards.
Presenting many unique historic monuments, these transform any campaign in an illustrating sightseeing tour of the Ancient World.

In this thread I intend to collect the most representative of these cards.
I start with some unique temples and apologize to the older fans, because these pictures have already been posted, but there will soon be more.

Agree, the artwork in this mod in general is fantastic! I especially like the pic of Cleopatra phoning Marc Antony in her bath

The map is beautiful, though I think I will hunt down the directions for turning off the permanent forts; the computer opponent does seem kind of placid compared to what I'm used to in vanilla and other mods (e.g., Roma Surrectum and Extended Cultures). I appreciate why you included them in the map and it was a great effort and well done. But it seems that the algorithms that control how the computer opponent makes campaign map decisions about attack and movement are garbled by all those permanent forts? Does that seem accurate?

Also one other comment: I'm not crazy about the battle maps. The art style seems "different" (though not sure if it is vanilla?) but a few dislikes:
battle maps seem rather small; the landscape features (trees, rocks, bushes) seem a bit to extravagant; not crazy about the unit sprites, they seem kind of large and cartoonish and a bit difficult to discern because so much detail overlapping.

    Amazing mod
Philadelphos, I hope you are well

    Thanks for your kind comments.

    I apologize for any shortcomings.

Its'a lot of work to create new unit sprites or battle environments. That's why I imported most of them, by kind permission of the authors, from other mods. I tried to take the best I could get, and I'm quite pleased with it, but there is certainly still something better out there. Remember that this game is now fifteen years old.

One of the best things about it were the huge possibilties in the buildings tree and I've been driving it to the limit. More recent games offer not even a tenth in that resort.
