    Default Need help, newbie and do not know alot about what im doing

    Hi, I installed SS6.3 and SS6.4 onto my computer and tried to get it to work. I followed numerous videos and still couldn't find the fix. Whenever i try to play the game an error message comes up and says "Unable to locate kingdoms.exe Is kingdoms.exe in your MTW2 folder?" I do not know what this means. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

    Sounds like you need to have the expansion to M2TW installed to play those mods. That expansion is called "Medieval 2 Total War Kingdoms". Do you have it?

    Okay! Now whenever i try to play another error comes up and says "Medieval 2 has encountered an unspecified error. It will now close" Or something along the lines of that.

    Run the SS_Setup.exe before starting the game. If it won't solve the problem, check the installation guide in the stickies, to be sure that you'll followed the installation guidelines. If the problem remains, check How to report a bug or technical problem ; if you 're going to file a log report, go to default.cfg. There you 'll see this entry:
    Code:
    level=* error
    ;level=* trace
    Change to this:
    Code:
    ;level=* error
     level=* trace
    and repeat the CTD.
