I have found the bug that causes the instant routs and it is in the AI Fear Effect. I will try to make a work around this with morale stats-Looks like hard coded behavior though.

UPDATE: MORE SAMURAI VERSIONS: Raised morale of samurai, added hide abilities in shrubs for katana, tweaked morale penalties, Better tech research and regional development. Battles play better. All good stuff

donpepot- install darthmod first make the settings your want with the darthmod launcher and start the game. exit out of the game and install Bran settings. Restart darthmod. done. enjoy.

Hey Bran, do your settings for Shogun 2 include all rank fire for gunpowder/FotS units like in your DME submod? I feel like it helps the AI out a lot and doesn't force you to spahetti line.

Bran can you make a new version like post 15 but with units stats from post 8. despite both claiming to have longer battles it seems post 8 is better e.g yari ashigaru has 22 defence when in post 15 it has 14 defense. but i'd rather not play a total slaughter version of the mod, so a new post 15 version with higher defense stats pls.

post 15 is bugged for me as units shatter instantly upon contact in both custom and campaign battles

Anyways, which version has the hardest AI? I notice that there is a Regional Development version so is that the best?

Another thing: Does this work for RotS campaign? Is this submod compatible with Extended Japan mod?

Hardest would be #8 Total War Slaughter/More Samurai/Longer Battles/Lower Anti Cav.(with campaign stealth mode). Play very hard/Very Hard-
Yes it works for ROTS and Extended Japan too. If you do let's get some feedback-nice to here someone still plays these things.

I don't know if it's working since units are still moving too fast. Please help. I did the regular one over DMS settings. All I want is longer battles, plus slower movment, and more realistic overall. How do I check if it's installed and how do I totally uninstall Shogun 2 + Mods if I need too?
