Saddam Hussein's fate!

SALVE all!
Is this the day for Saddam Hussein to be punished for his savage nature in the past?
I just tuned to a news channel.They say this is it.Is it true??Well, what do you people expect out of that?I think he should be flogged till death

I have seen many films or say documentaries rather showing how harmful he has been for the iraqis, iranians and rest of the world(US too).I think he really deserves a huge punishment and nothing i think can be greater than having him go around Baghdad on a donkey,then flogging him,putting him in boiling oil and then if he desires to live after that, set him free(although he will not remain alive after all that).AWKWARD thought though but this is what i desire for.
What do you people think,how should he be punished(any supporters are welcome as well).Sorry if i offended any of the supporters.

Well it hardly matters if he doesn't get the death penatly this time. This charge was only for the deaths of less than 1000 people. He survives this one, the next one will surely kill him.

HAH! no way is saddam sharing a cell with anyone. Hes in a cushy cell methinks, hell hes being fed doritos...I bet hes given a TV too, I be he has it relatively well off. Better than your average prisoner in gen pop.

I think the best thing to do is to let him retire to a small home in Iraq. Every day, people would egg his house and poop in his mailbox and **** on his pet doggy, for the rest of his miserable life.

Either that, or bind his arms and legs in cement and toss him into the sea. That'd be fairly cheap. Maybe strap a waterproof webcam onto his head, and get people to watch it on Pay-per-View and the interweb. Scrape a profit from it.

Yup, he's going to be hanged, and most of Iraq is having an enforced curfew in case of riots...

he wanted to be shot by firing squad, as he was a 'military man'. Military as in he awarded himself the rank of Field Marshal...

I'm glad he has finally be sentenced and am sure he deserves it. But I would rather that Iraq had never been invaded.

It's a shame they gave capital punishment.
It's a missed opportunity to show that Iraq (or at least the Iraqi juidial system) is civilised.

They should've sentenced him to life without parole, which would've given off a sign of civilisation.
I'm also quite surprised that other countries just let this happen.

So you agree with the sentencing of death?

Apart from the fact that an execution is an easy way out for the criminal, my opinion is that the man that sentences a killer to death is just as bad as the killer himself.

Milosevic (if he'd have outlived his trial) would never been given the death penalty, for instance.

Well killing 140 people is not enough also if when to jail possibly come out before life anyway. Like in UK you can get life but could be out i think 10 years on patrol.

Personally he not going do good in the world is he????

And in case anyone worries about how the dead penalty will be delivered, let me assure you that since all key henchmen of Saddam (minor, major and intermediate) are still part of the establishment, the court will not have a difficult task finding a man who can tie a knot...
