Can someone please upload all of his GEM files (not only the .cfg ?)
Attila crashes at launch, and I'm not the only one who has this problem, so I'll like to have the 1.0.7 files that used to work on my computerThanks a lot

Strachys, very nice preset! I tried to use my own configuration, but could do nothing that satisfied me really.
So I just use yours now with some tiny tweaks (enabled UI-Bypass and disabled ambient light).
Attila has never been so beautiful *thumbs up*
Thanks a lot!
PS: If you ever think about changing/improving your settings, please share with us!
PPS: Can you post a screenshot from your ingame graphic settings and your values for gamma / luminosity please? Would be interesting.
Hi Mamba, while the preset was designed around Attila it won't prevent you from using it in your Rome II configuration. You'll need to save the .cfg file to "\SteamApps\common\Total War Rome II\GEMFX\Presets\current" replacing the file that currently exists there. You'll then want to run the GEMFX_Configurator.exe (the configurator will let you play around with the settings yourself if you want) located in the "Total War Rome II" folder and click 'Load Configuration' to import the changed settings.
So v1.0.8.1 of the GEMFX causes Attila to crash for you?
Thanks a lot miTo. Ah Yes,

fabe holy moly I love your preset! This is what I've been trying to make, makes picture look very realistic and cinematic. Great job keep it up!
Hey man, love the screenshots. it really inspired me to boot up Rome 2 again - however, everytime I copy your file to my Presets/Current folder GEM doesn't function in game for me. I'm not blaming your file, at all, as I assume it will be the same with all other User Preset settings I try but I was wondering if you (or anyone else reading) might have an idea what the problem is?
Cheers!
EDIT: Apparently I just need to turn on Compatibility Mode before booting the game up -scratch everything I said before. GEM only works for me with CM turned on for Win 8.1 normally, anyway.

Strachys you forget the link to download the preset 1.0.8.1![]()
Hi guys, I was wondering where can I find so-called VENOS (I believe) preset that Darren showed off in his Extreme Graphics mod for Rome 2? On what version of GEM does it operate? Thank you.
Hi, can anyone help me? I'm trying to get Doktor1's settings in combination with Aztec's mod on his main page: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...N-2-beta-added
Sadly Aztec doesn't update his GEM settings anymore and I can't find Doktor1's settings for the newest version of GEM. I tried looking for an older GEM version but I can't find anything...
In short: I want to get the pictures from Doktor1 on Aztec's mod page.
Thanks in advance!
I'm actually just using the GEM .pack for the environment changes like Aztec's and then using a custom SweetFX setting instead of GEM. I guess I ended up turning so much off on GEM I figured why not just use SweetFX but with his environment changes. Works and looks just like I want it.![]()
how do i change the default preset of GEM?? nevermind solved it :-)

Holy. Holy
. Holy
. Dude. HOLY
this is
ing amazing. Sorry, I have lots of swears because I lost my refinement when I saw this beauty. Is there a way you could make a realism themed version of this? This is clearly True Color/Style mastery style. If you could do one that is realistic, and compatible for Attila, you will be my god.
Thanks for the warm words for the preset.
As for a realistically-themed GEM preset, I can certainly do that. The only problem here is that I don't have Atilla, and I won't have any way of knowing whether it's compatible or not.
That being said, I'll give it a few shots and get back to you when I can.
For me its not working .The games of this lance is after that I'll battle it's been an image that goes down is that these unfortunate because your preset Slypear
are beautiful.![]()
