Tryed numerous times with differnt FXAA settings both through GEm and nvidia control panel none seems to make a different, also the offline preview crash's as well not sure if the two issues are related...
Update:
OK got the game to run but only when i check compatibility mode if i dont the above issue still applies, i think the mod is active but not sure if it's working as intended since it wont work without compatibility mode....
With Compatibility Mode the log says this:

With Compatibility mode checked it just seems to skip the fxaa part all together in the log when it's loading up, ofcourse this may mean it's not functioning when im playing the game so not sure this is ideal hope a fix is possible, love the mode...

Hey Guys,
I've never had a problem with GEM before but since updating to windows 10, 64 bit, and reinstalling Atilla, I've not had any success. It starts the game fine but Gem just never does it's thing. I've set in the configurator for 64 and not, compatibility mode and not. Any help would be much appreciated.
Application::Atilla
GEMFX Version::v 1.0.9
Bug Description::Gem doesn't appear to be doing anything at all, hotkeys for GEM (f9, etc) don't work either.
System Specs::Win 10 64, GTX 770 4gb, 8gb corsair vengeance, Attila installed on Samsung 850 evo, I5 4670k
Log File:: Forgive me, I've searched all over, including reading this thread but haven't found out how to find the log.
Sounds like you are missing the necessary NETframeworks and visualC++, but I'm not sure how to get those on Win10 since I'm still on Win7. Though I think google should help
There should be a text file in your Atilla folder simply named GEMFX, but if you don't have those prerequisites mentioned above none will be created.
On a side note, as Attila is a 32-bit game too, like Rome, never choose the 64-bit option in the configurator, it would simply deactivate GEM.
Application:: Rome 2 Total War

GEMFX Version: 1.0.9
Bug Description: Game crashes at launch.
System Specs: Windows 10 Home x64, Geforce GTX 970M
I upgraded to Win10 (Home, x64) from Win8.1 (same), and now GEM (1.0.9) is crashing at launch even though it was working fine under Win8.1. I've uninstalled and re-installed the VC redists (2008, 2010, and 2013) five or six times by now, installed and uninstalled the 2015 version, and nothing works. I can't do anything with the .NET Framework or DirectX runtimes, because it keeps on telling me I have the latest version no matter what version I try and install. I've tried turning Compatibility Mode off and on, but neither works.

My nVidia drivers are the latest version as of this morning, and DXDiag says I have DX12, no issues found. Any idea what the problem could be?

@Jack85 , what do you mean by not working at all? What preset are you using. Have you tried pressing some of the different buttons like F9 etc to see if there is any effect.
I tried everything mate it s like disabled. I m using the stand one, I tried to edit it but nothing is changed. I have this problem after I update it to 1.0.9 beforw it was working good.
@JACK85: "64-bit application" activated?
If yes deactivate!
Hi, recently started playing Total War Rome 2; game runs fine until I try and enable Bypass UI; it then crashes at launch. I've reinstalled, and have updated my registries. I've tried ticking/unticking combinations of compatability/x64 to no avail. Any help would be appreciated as I really enjoy the presets but can't seem to not have the overlay apply to my UI.
