Those linothorax textures are nice. But probably something that we might have already seen in DeI.

    I like the helmet model.

But what really excites me is that winged helmet.

Oh please please please let those wings be a crest model that can be added to any helmet! That would be so awsome!

Imagine how awsomely the elite units of the Gauls could be reskined.

And I have this image from a French book that shows Etruscan generals with such helmets.

Looks like the linothorax that the archers wear are also a new model.

The thought of Gauls with winged helmets sounds amazing.

Amazing that these factions have been playable for over 12 months now using AFP mod! And there are better unit packs that cover these three factions with in depth unit mods.

dreadful DLC, waste of money and detrimental to the modding community.

I will not be buying Attila on release account of the this since CA clearly haven't learnt their lesson. This franchise is dead.

    Looking forward to it.

Also, in the stream I think we saw the Siraces train Steppe Spearmen. Maybe that's something Nomads can do now?

And there I was thinking an awesome Alexander campaign when I heard the rumors of a Greek DLC. A really cheap and lazy cashgrab. No shame whatsoever. I think they're just trying to be funny now.

Interesting no one from CA came to post this.

There are 4 more DLC slots in planned. You'll get your wish probably in 3 months time.

How? How could it possibly be detrimental?

Well, now you have to pay to play as Colchis, Cimmeria and Pergamon, because the modders don't want to upset CA.

First of all, factions unlocked by mods are never as good as proper factions.

Correct, but the data will be there after the release so you can make those factions work correctly

That is quite a statement... care to expand it a bit? Because I have played quite a lot of factions in DeI, and while it is true that they got no missions, and sometimes their starting general´s bodyguards are weird; the unit rosters were excellent, the factions ooverall bonuses were just as cool as the ones other factions have and the game experience in general was pretty ing enjoyable. Some of my best campaigns were with DeI armenia (before IA), Cimmeria (before today) and Odrysians (before pirates and raiders).

because if you know how the game is built, then you know how much is missing.

It seems that CA is so bad on categorizing factions and naming their culture packs.

Last time we got "Balkans" which are a mix of some tribes from different cultures, and now we get this Black Sea pack including a Georgian faction which had traded with the Greeks as well as a Greek faction which was not even relate to Black Sea.

I did hope that they would add some unique/fancy units when I first saw the announcement on Facebook yesterday. Unfortunately, I see that the only true effort CA has made for this DLC is the new helmet model mentioned above and it will cost $8. Thanks, but no thanks!

Do anyone know if there will be some loves for the Massilian roster?
