Problem installing Stainless Steel 6.4

I am trying to update from 6.3 to 6.4. It doesnt give me problems except for the advice after all the install of the UAC problems and virtualstore. I did what the guide told me to and I gave full rights to the folder. Also deactivated the whole UAC just to try, but it doesnt works. When I try to start the game the crusader image appears but rapidly the game crashes. I cant solve it in any way I know, so does anyone have an answer for this?

Also I had to update because I was having the "turn 51" bug, which causes my 6.3 version to crash too. A fix for that problem is welcome too, since the download links for the solution are down.

I am having the exact same problem.

I tried to install SS 6.3 and SS 6.4 now, in a laptop with i5 processor and nvidia GT 420M.

SS 6.3 seems to be installed and loaded correctly. But while 6.4 seems also to be installed correctly, when i run it, it loads the initial screen with the crusader image and then the screen disappears and nothing happens. I am not getting any error/stop/crash message, only screen disappearing and thats that.

I am using the same install files that were used in my desktop installation 1-2 years ago. In my desktop, I can play SS 6.4 with no problem.

Any help?

Fixed it, it seems i used UAC on with normal game and disabled it afterwards. This caused all the problems I guess.

Disabled UAC -> restart -> clean install of MTII and the SS mods and it seems ok.

Did you run the SS_setup.exe?
