Default A Stall in the Forum Romanum

Aelianus Sempronius Longus, Ex-Praetor and Flamen Quirinalis sits in the small stall in the Forum, a small well-made sign hung above it advertising his presence, and his purpose. He patiently awaited anyone who planned to reveal themselves before him, whether it was suggestions on what improvements could be made to the city or information regarding the recent crimes. Adjusting his toga once more he sighed slightly, leaning over to itch the scar on his left leg.

Aelianus would look up as the man approached, a smile on his lips.

"Greetings, good citizen. What do you bring before me today?"

The man hesitated. He was quite young, perhaps 20 or so. He wore a pale brown tunic and a toga that looked a couple sizes too large.

"Hello, Senator Aelianus." He was unsure which position the man held, he honestly didn't follow the politics of Rome, be he happened to be in the Forum when he heard him speak with a few friends. "My friends and me heard what you was saying the other day over in that Forum circle the otha day. And what was caught ours minds, was you saying that you wanted to improve Rome for the peoples. Well, my friends, made me come speak to you and their leader I guess."
He tired to motion with his hands as he spoke, but was obviously unused to wearing a toga.
"So we was wondering if maybe you could get a proper swimming area builted over by the river. 'Cause you know the river ain't the most clean place as it was in my grandad's time or even my dad's time. So us poorer peoples wanted a place we could swim and cool down on the hot summer days. Is there anything you could do?" The man asks.

Aelianus would nod slightly as he spoke, smiling slightly.

"Indeed, such a plan sounds like it could have much benefit for all men of the city. So, you wish for more like a pool than a bath complex? Interesting.. Perhaps - as well as building this increased sanitation of the river would help; making it cleaner and healthier to swim and drink from?"

Nodding slightly he would gesture to a scribe who began to scribble down notes.

"Tell me citizen, what is your name? So I may speak it to the Senate house when I tell them that the people have requested these improvements."

    "Decimus, sir."
"We want a place to play and swim in, not bathe. Although others might want that."
    He replied.

    Aelianus would nod once more,

"Perhaps these areas should be erected by the Campus Martius - so you could swim and do sports while close to the training grounds? Anyhow, I will look into these suggestions and act upon them."

OOC: What type of buildings would these be classed as? A small 'other' building?

"Thank you Sir," he blurts out before hurrying away trying not to trip over the toga.

ooc: I will let you know about the building requirements. but it might be more entertainment.

    Aelianus would smile,

"Farewell citizen - I will act upon your concerns."
Jotting down a few notes he would recline once more, waiting to see if anyone else would arrive or not.
