Default Islamic state crisis: US troops sent as advisors into Iraq's Anbar

It will be interesting to see how much of an impact they are going to have in that area. It seems there are going there for support/training for the Iraqi army. Overall the number is going to be around 1500 soldiers in Iraq. Anyone have any thoughts on how much more of an impact they may have?

Yay ? Nay? Not enough troops? We should send more? We should send less? What are your thoughts?

I appreciate any thoughts, I'm trying to be optimistic but I'm interested in other people's opinions.

TBH I don't think any amount of training by US troops is gona make a differince with the Iraqi Army. They may have better luck with the Pesh and FSA but is time has shown us anything the Iraqi army outside of a few select units is just not worth wasting time with.
