Epeiros and Diplomacy
Hello to all,
I m playing Epeiros on h/h. In the first turns I ve taken Demetrias, Thermon an Pella and haven't lost any starting provinces.
Now the Koinon and Macedonians are almost defeated and just have got very poor armies.
To stabilize economy I want to make peace with the Koinon and the Macedonians (with Qarthadasht and Rome too), but they always reject my offers.
So want can I do to make a ceasfire?
Or what can I do to make them a vassel-state?
Is it a General question about CAI?
thx for any help!

Re: Epeiros and Diplomacy
In my experience.
If you share a border with the nation you are at war with (land borders only), it's most likely a peace offer will be 'very demanding'.
If you do not share a border with the nation you are at war with (land borders only), it's most likely a peace offer will be 'very generous'.
Keep this in mind when DOW and making peace.

Hunt down and destroy their field armies, and always release captives. After a while, they'll hopefully give up and accept peace, but it can be a long while. It might require you to give them gifts or tribute, though...
Alternatively, conquer their cities and incorporate them into your empire as "allies."
