    Default Eldar Units?

    Hey everyone,

    I started a campaign with High Elves, and I'm at turn 120 but I still cannot recruit any Eldar units. I checked the buildings, and it says that I can only train Eldar units from the Barracks's that can only be built from having a castle/Fortress but all of the elven cities are cities, and not castles. :/ Is this supposed to be like this? Am I supposed to wait more turns to be able to train them? Or is this a bug?

    Assuming that you use unmodded TATW 3.2, had the last barrack event already occured? The one that says 'military working in full capacity' or something like that. If yes, do you have an army barrack in one of your cities? If I'm not wrong the condition for the Eldar (gold/silver) units is for the event barrack to occur and build an army barrack.

    Are you playing a mod? MOS players seem to have a lot of trouble with the barracks event lately.

    But anyway, if I understand your problem correctly, you cannot build higher level military structures in your cities? Not in Rivendel/Imladris either?
    That is very likely a problem with the barracks event then, as you should be able to build all military buildings in cities as well.
    You can remove the barracks event (I'd suggest making a backup of the relevant folder first) by following these instructions: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...-event-removal
    That should solve the problem, but it means you don't have barracks events in your next games and Eldar units will be available from the start, provided the proper buildings are there.

    Sounds like a submod is used, otherwise the barrack event kicks in around turn 40

    First off, Thank you all for your prompt and helpful replies!

    Yes I am using MOS, and I have read that other people are having similar issues...

    So I did remove the Barracks event by following those instructions, but it still seems as though I cannot build an "Army Barracks" in Imladris, nor can I build the highest tier Archery Range either. When I go into the Building Browser, for Barracks, it shows that I need my establishment to be a castle in order to build the Army Barracks, and as for Missile units, there isnt even a building higher than the tier two building (so I cannot recruit Eldar archers)

    Without being able to build an army barracks or the third tier archery range, it looks like just removing the barracks script will not solve this issue :/

    Perhaps MOS have set up their Barrack Event in a different way from TATW, unless something just went wrong in the process to remove the event (happends easily).
